When we started BioFeyn, we knew we had something big. Well, technically, it is something very, very small. But its potential -- that is HUGE.

At the heart of our technology is something called a Feyn, a tiny quantity of an essential nutrient packaged for delivery. We didn't invent Feyns, per se, but we did re-purpose them and give them a new name. "Feyn" derives not from Latin, nor Greek, but something equally as storied, scholarly, and influential - Richard Feynman. Dr. Feynman was a man of many talents. A particle physicist, pioneer of quantum computing, communicator, and as it relates to BioFeyn technology, father of nanoscience. The company itself is named in honor of his trailblazing efforts as it is his work that has given foundation to our own.

At BioFeyn, we are working with the very slight. Nanoparticles, to be precise. Never greater than 999 nanometers, these mini modules pack an outsized punch. They are many things for many uses - medicines, sunscreens, cosmetics, taste enhancers, and nutrient amplifiers to name a few.

There have very literally been decades of work and tens of billions of dollars spent developing nanoparticles for these purposes. The catch is, they've mostly been developed for humans. And while that may be great for us bipeds, there are plenty of other species that could benefit. For example: fish (which don't have much need for sunscreen or make-up, but do still eat and get sick).

The crux of BioFeyn work is enabling the flow of biotechnological advancement from one field to another. We capitalize on our team's strengths in biomedical science and pair that with the on-the-ground (and in-the-water) expertise of fish and feed biologists. This transfer of knowledge is explosive for innovation, enabling us to generate and apply new Feyn-related solutions for some of the most pressing problems in aquaculture and beyond.
